Plein Air Paint-off

Old York Cellars is excited to announce our second annual Plein Air Paint-off. For two days an army of artists will create images of our idyllic scenery, stone and wood architecture, and industrial wine-making implements. Visitors are invited to explore the vineyard, discovering artists at work scattered across the 25 acre expanse, and witnessing the landscape through the unique eyes of each individual painter. Fueled by Old York Cellars' "liquid inspiration," this celebration of creativity and spring awakening releases the invigorating power of art and rebirth.

Mixing Palettes Exhibition

The artwork created during the paint-off will be exhibited through May in our Vista Room Gallery. Viewers of the exhibition are called upon to decide which piece will be named best in show. Pick up a ballot in the Tasting Room and cast your vote for the artwork you feel deserves this honor. The winner will receive a solo exhibition at the winery. They will be announced during the Closing Reception and Awards Ceremony on May 24th.
