Art Classes on the Vineyard
Cultivate your creativity at our new series of art classes on Saturday mornings this Summer. Guided by exceptional instructors and fueled by Old York Cellars’ “liquid inspiration” each course explores a different artistic medium, technique, and subject. Set amidst the vineyard’s expanse of rolling hills and picturesque vista, students will find the perfect mixture of focus and stimulation to unlock their inner artist.

| Plein Air Painting with Jared Clackner
June 22nd, June 29th, & July 13th from 9:30am-1pm $35 per class, or all three classes for $90 Medium: oil paint and watercolor. visit artist's website In this class students will learn all aspects of plein air painting; from setup and thumbnail sketching, to composition, block-in, and finish. Students will learn to work in a timely fashion while concentrating on the fundamentals of good drawing, design, value, and color.

Classical Still Life Painting with David Rush July 20th, July 27th, and Aug. 3rd from 9:30am - 11:30am $35 per class or all three classes for $90 Medium: oil Paint visit artist's website Explore the techniques of the old masters such as Sfumato from Leonardo Di Vinci and Chiaroscuro from Rembrant. Students will learn to use under painting and glazing methods that enhance the depth of the painting and, when mastered, create a stunning realism.

Nature and Abstraction Watercolor Workshop with Andrea Geller August 10th, 17th, and 24th from 9:30am – 12:30pm $55 per class, or all three classes for $150 email artist for material list: gellerart@yahoo.com visit artist's website Students will learn to create abstract watercolor paintings inspired by the natural landscape. Each class will consist of a watercolor demonstration and dicsussion followed by a painting session in the vineyard.
