So the main idea is that you will have to farm nekkers in the caves under Flotsam, then sell their organs at a merchant to get money.

Here is the entrance to the cave:
It is the cave you have to go in the quest titled: Malena

Just some visual indication where it is:

In the cave you will be heavily outnumbered by nekkers. If you are in the beginning of the game and you are weak, you will have to use bombs, traps and everything at your disposal to kill them as there are a lot of them here. (You can find traps in the forest around flotsam.)

But once you cleared out the cave for the first time, just put down traps here:

After you looted their corpses, don't forget do rearm the traps again!

Once the bottom floor of the cave is clear you can climb up from here to another section that has 3-4 nekkers as well. It's much easier to kill them, but it's worth it for their loot.

Once you're clear, you have to make the nekkers respawn.

Go back one step at the cave entrance. No need to climb all the way back. One step is enough.

Wait 12 hours, then go down again. The nekkers will be respawn.

The Witcher 3 money making methods explained

Like any role-playing game, money makes the money go round - so you'll want to consider various The Witcher 3 money making methods as you play.

Life as a Witcher is hard; you're constantly being shouted at, have to go around fighting all manner of things that want to kill you, and nobody wants to pay you what you're worth.

It's enough of a hassle just travelling around, the last thing you want to have to worry about is money. After all, that's what real life is for.

So, to help you get the most out of the game - from when you start to White Orchard to simply exploring the world - here is some advice to keep the Crowns flowing.

If you're looking for more assistance, our Witcher 3 walkthrough can help.

How to make money in The Witcher 3

There's no one single technique to keep your cash flow up - you have to keep a number of things in mind as you play the game, such as the following...

Making money in White Orchard

While all of the tips are useful at all points in the game, you might be a little concerned when starting off in the game. So, here are a couple of White Orchard specific tips for the budding Witcher.

First of all, kill everything living thing and loot them, you'll be able to find a wealth of materials and items on them. Sell any cow hides you have to the merchant that you save from a Griffin during the early stages of the story, he reappears next to the Woesong Bridge marker.

Also, make sure to sell gear to the quartermaster and not the dwarven blacksmith, as the former gives you a bit more money per piece.

witcher_3_money_mm

Loot everything

This is the main one, the best way to get money is to sell things to merchants around the world. The best way to get these items is to pick them up from the containers you find littering every ancient ruin, luxurious castle, and random peasant's house.

:: Pokémon Sword and Shield walkthrough and guide

Pick everything up, all the time, no matter where you go. To this end, you'll need to upgrade your inventory space pretty quickly, so look into getting some saddlebags for Roach early on. To help you find things, use your Witcher Senses to make everything lootable appear with a yellow outline.

witcher_3_money_mm1

Know where to sell items

So, you're loaded up with so many items that you can no longer run, what now? Now you need to sell them off, but even here you need to be savvy to get the most money. Different merchants will give you different prices, so it's worth knowing where to go with each item.

If someone sells predominantly swords, then they'll give you a better price for weapons, if someone sells armour, then they'll pay better for armour. Don't sell all of your items to the same merchant, you'll lose out on a lot of money if you do so. Sell smart, not hard.

witcher_3_money_mm2

Look for Smuggler's Caches

Perhaps the most profitable places you can visit are the Smuggler's Caches. These are floating items that you can loot and they can be found in the various seas all across the map. Most notably, you can find a lot of them in Skellige.

Make sure to sail around and investigate these whenever you find them. They'll be a huge boon to your finances.

witcher_3_money_mm3

Take on contracts

People will pay money for you to solve their problems. Given that you're the only person in the world who can solve these problems, it does make it fairly profitable.

Finishing off the various missions and Witcher contracts you find as you adventure around is a great way to boost the size of you Witcher wallet. It also helps you level up, which in turn leads to more expensive items, which leads to more gold.

witcher_3_money_mm4

Our Witcher 3 walkthrough and guide can help you with the main story, including the Wandering in the Dark and Family Matters missions, and eventually, one of several Witcher 3 endings. There's plenty of side content, too, including Witcher 3 Contracts, White Orchard quests, Velen quests, Novigrad quests and Skellige Isles quests. Elsewhere, learn about the best Witcher 3 builds, the best Witcher 3 mods, how to make money in Witcher 3, find Places of Power locations, and learn how to do Witcher 3 crafting and Witcher 3 Alchemy And when you're done with all those - we can help you through expansions with our Hearts of Stone walkthrough and Blood and Wine walkthrough.

Be frugal

You can save a lot of money by not needlessly upgrading your gear or buying items you don't need. Craft items where possible, and try and just use the weapons you find as you make your way through the world rather than buying new ones.

witcher_3_money_mm5

Given how quickly you level up it's rare that you won't outgrow your items anyway, so don't sink money into things until you're near the endgame. It will save you a lot of money, which is a bit like earning money.

Do those Nekkers in the cave near the docks always respawn? The one where..

*SPOILERS*

You go to see if that elven girl led those two guards to a Squirrel ambush? There were a lot of Nekkers in the cave and they were not that hard so maybe they can be farmed?

God I hated that part. I died 3 or 4 times before I finally figured out a good strategy. Also, I dunno, maybe run back and find out.

Making money in The Witcher 3 can be a grind for new and veteran players alike. Witcher gear isn’t cheap, and Geralt’s inventory fills up quickly, especially early in the game.

Fortunately, there’s no shortage of ways to bulk up your coin pouch. Some money-making methods are honest, some are a little dubious, and others are downright cheating.

Whether you’re an altruistic witcher or you’re not opposed to getting your gauntlets dirty for a few extra Crowns, our Witcher 3 money guide has got you covered.

Table of Contents

Tips for looting and making money in TW3

  • Loot everything, broken oars and butterknives included.
  • Sell items to the right merchants — armor to armorers, weapons to blacksmiths, alchemy ingredients to herbalists, etc.
  • Complete Witcher contracts. Always haggle for the best price.
  • Convert Florens and Orens into Crowns at Vivaldi Bank in Novigrad.
  • Upgrade Roach’s saddlebags as soon as possible so you can carry more stuff.
  • Activate the Strong Back perk for +60 max carry weight.
  • Use the Fiend Decoction for +20 max carry weight when looting.
  • To save money on crafting materials, buy dimeritium ore from the armorer at Kaer Trolde in Skellige. He charges the lowest price in the game.
  • If you’re playing Blood and Wine, wait until you travel to Touissant to start looting smuggler’s caches and hidden treasures in Skellige. Sell your swords and armor to smiths in Toussaint, or at the tourney grounds.

Witcher 3 Money Glitches & Strategies

Most money glitches in TW3 have been patched but there are still great ways to make money, glitch or not. If one of the below methods doesn’t work for you, or if you know of another one, share your money-making wisdom in the comments!

Cow hides glitch

Who knew setting cows on fire would be the best money exploit in TW3? This used to be an option in White Orchard until CDPR patched it. (More on that update in the next money-making tip.) But this glitch still works at a farm in northeastern Velen.

Travel to Martin Feuille’s Farmstead. Walk about 150 paces northeast of the main farm to find an empty pasture. Meditate for an hour and cows will spawn. Use Igni to kill them in one hit and loot them. Repeat several times.

Each hide fetches 42 crowns from the right merchants. You can also sell cow’s milk and raw meat at the Inn on the Crossroads.

Best places to sell cow hides:

  • The Alchemy Inn, Oxenfurt
  • Marquise Serenity at The Passiflora, Novigrad
  • Jonas the Innkeep at Newport Inn, Kaer Trolde Harbor
  • Dupont & Sons art merchant in Beauclair, next to the grandmaster smith

Bonus: Secret chort boss

Remember how we mentioned CDPR patched the cowhide money exploit in White Orchard? They replaced it with a secret boss. This money-making tip won’t exactly make Geralt rich, but monster hides are some of the most valuable alchemy items to sell.

Travel to Woesong Bridge and start killing cows in the pen near the signpost. Kill 6 of them to summon a chort. Beware if you’re low-level: the chort is level 27.

Battle the chort and loot its corpse for a chort hide (base value of 324 crowns), raw meat, and a chort mutagen. Chort hides aren’t used for crafting, so it’s easy money.

Hanse Base Farming

Another great way to make money is to farm one of the 3 Hanse Bases in Toussaint. We recommend this method if you enjoy combat and want to feel like you’re earning the gold in a more honest way.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Travel to a Hanse base and kill and loot all of the bandits except the leader/boss.
  2. Fast travel to a merchant to sell the gear (we recommend selling to the Beauclair blacksmith Lafargue for the best prices).
  3. Fast travel back to the Hanse base; the bandits will be respawned so you can kill and loot them again.

Monster nests

When you destroy and loot a monster nest, leave one common item behind. Then, meditate for 5 days and the loot will respawn. Some players said they only needed to meditate for 2 days, while others said 6 days worked for them.

Note: this glitch only works on monster nests you haven’t cleared yet.

Check out the video above for a full explanation.

Money cheats in TW3

Console commands

Console commands are the easiest way to get unlimited money in Witcher 3. First, you need to enable the Witcher 3 debug console.

After that:

  1. Open the console (~ key) and input the command addmoney(Amount)
  2. Replace “Amount” with however many Crowns you want.
  3. Profit!

Curious about other console commands in WItcher 3? Here’s complete list of all the commands.

Mods

Playing TW3 on PC and want to get rich quick? Check out these quick money mods:

High-value items to sell in The Witcher 3

No merchants in the game buy items for full price, but some pay more than others. Let’s take a look at some of the highest-value items in the game and where to sell them.

Pearls

Like cow hides, pearl farming was once a profitable money exploit in TW3. Unfortunately, CDPR caught onto that one too. But pearls are still valuable, selling for 100+ Crowns each. Head to the Fish Market in Novigrad to find a merchant who sells seashells (by the seashore).

Honeycomb

This money-making tip is best for broke players looking to make some cash early in the game. Over 25 beehives in White Orchard contain 2-4 honeycomb each. Use Igni to burn them and loot the honeycomb. Beware: the bees will retaliate! They’re also a worthy opponent to low-level witchers.

Read the notice board in White Orchard to learn that Tomira, the local herbalist, is looking to buy honeycomb. She’ll purchase each one for 18 Crowns — a much better price than the average 2 to 7 Crowns.

Extra alchemy ingredients

Once you’ve crafted all your bombs, potions, and decoctions, sell your leftover ingredients. Keep between 10 and 20 of each item just in case.

If you have a lot of items to sell, you’ll need to do some traveling or meditating, since most herbalists and alchemists only have between 500 and 1,000 Crowns at a time.

Best places to sell alchemy ingredients:

  • The herbalist in Kaer Trolde Harbor
  • The alchemist east of the Oxenfurt Gate signpost in Novigrad
  • The herbalist northeast of Oxenfurt at The Herbalist’s Hut

Best ingredients to sell:

  • Monster hides
  • Crystallized essence
  • Devourer’s blood

This isn’t a complete list — sort by price when selling for the best results.

Common, master, and magic weapons and armor

Quick money hack: sell every Novigrad longsword and blunt ax you find. While high-level relic items are lucrative, you may want to dismantle them for rare crafting materials instead.

Best places to sell weapons and armor:

  • Armorer and blacksmith at Kaer Trolde
  • Grandmaster armorer in Toussaint
  • Armorers and blacksmiths in Novigrad and Oxenfurt

Gems

Dismantle jewelry to get gems, which you can sell for a decent price at most general merchants.

Tip: Keep flawless gems and dismantle jewelry containing green gold. You’ll need these rare, expensive materials to craft some Witcher gear items.

Glyphs and runestones

Greater glyphs and runestones fetch well over 1,000 Crowns each. Even basic runestones go for up to 900 Crowns. Visit Yoanna in Crow’s Perch to upgrade your runes for cheap. Then, sell them to the armorer in Novigrad’s Hierarch Square for the best price.

Books

You don’t need to keep most books or notes once you’ve read them. Just be sure to hang on to A Miraculous Guide to Gwent. Marcus T.K. Hodgson in Hierarch Square pays the best price for books.

Junk

Overencumbered by broken rakes and wooden ladles? Sell them to the merchant wearing red in Hierarch Square. You’ll find him by Marcus T.K. Hodgson’s bookstore.

The Witcher 3 money-making guide: wrapping up

Whether you want to get rich through honest work, or use glitches, mods, or cheats, we’ve covered some of the best ways and tips for making money in Witcher 3.

Some players might dislike stealing from peasants or using console commands. Fortunately for them, there are plenty of honest ways to make Crowns quickly.

Now all that’s left to do is head down to the Passiflora brothel and make it rain! Or if you’re a more pragmatic Witcher, why not spend the money on crafting Witcher school weapons, runes, or enchantments?

Brawling in the pubs, arm-wrestling and monster drops notwithstanding, you can also make a fair amount of money by making an abundance of potions from those same monster drops and selling the potions instead.

Also, weapons, though quite heavy, are also good for at least 7-15 gold each, and thankfully the townspeople are pretty oblivious when it comes to you walking into their houses and robbing them blind. Vergen (chapter 2) is a great place to pick up stacks and stacks of weapons then walk across the road and sell them to one of the same townspeople.

Chapter 1, I made a fair amount killing all the Scoiatel and looting their 'Blue Mountain' swords (11g each), and Chapter 2, the Kaedweni soldiers you see setting up ambushes and such (or more Scoiatel if you sided with Henselt) each sell for 8-11g. Add that with the armour you sell off after replacing, the potions you sell off and the monster parts (as well as quest rewards, of course), you can usually hit Chapter 2 with 3-5k gold depending on how much you buy as you go along.

It's not much, but it sets you up with a good start for the 10,000 gold Steam achievement if you have it available, and also gives you plenty of cash to buy the 'Epic' armours from the various vendors once you're in Chapter 2.bishoparts - 10 years ago - report0   2

The Witcher 3: How To Make Money Fast

A witcher's life is far from luxurious, always on the road fighting hellish monsters, and perhaps the occasional tankard of mead if they're lucky and have the coin. Frugal lives to be sure, but the highly adaptable mutants have picked up a few tricks in their travels on how to scrape by.

RELATED: The Witcher 3: The Best Enemy To Use Each Sign Against & The Worst

Compiled below is a list of adventure tips to establish sound habits for keeping a fat coin purse throughout Geralt's travels and learning how to make money in The Witcher 3.

Updated by Kim Dailey on March 8, 2022: The Witcher 3's popularity isn't fading anytime soon, so we continue to revisit each bit of content to expand upon our wealth of knowledge on the game in order to enrich gameplay for newcomers and returning witchers alike. After adding an entirely new section to help you avoid overspending and identifying frivolous purchases, this time we are just popping in for a quick clean-up to better display the information and clarify a few points.

Essential Starting Tips For Finding Lootable Items

Witcher Senses Are Key For Treasure Hunting

Witchers will want to use their witcher senses to scope out their surroundings habitually. The many sights, sounds, and smells detected by witcher senses are depicted by red and yellow color coding for quick differentiation.

RedTracks, scent trails, sounds, quest/tracking clues, and enemies.
YellowCrates, parcels, and other lootables, along with interactable objects.

Enemies often yield valuable bounty, while countless lootables are stored in crates and other parcels around every turn along the path, at camps, and in abundance throughout cities-- just be careful of the guards.

Looting the streets of bustling cities like Oxenfurt and Novigrad during the night can prove highly lucrative and greatly reduces the risk of being spotted by the guards.

Some takeaways may be utilized to sustain Geralt throughout his travels, such as food, alchemy ingredients, and crafting materials. However, many items are best sold to vendors. Scanning an area with Geralt's keen witcher senses before moving on from any area ensures no rare or essential items get overlooked either.

Don't Get Swindled By The Dwarven Blacksmith in White Orchard

Geralt's adventures in The Witcher 3 begin in White Orchard, where you can easily fill up Geralt's inventory pouches if you want to get advantageous straight away with some early-game trading, which we'd highly encourage.

But we also implore you to be prudent about who you barter with. There's a dwarven Blacksmith in this region, and common to dwarven lore, many of the dwarves inhabiting the Continent are infamous for their greed. This one will swindle any overburdened witcher just getting their footing, soavoid making deals with him. It's better to stockpile valuable materials and wait to sell until Geralt reaches Velen.

Don't Forget, Witchers Have A Job To Do

Witchers earn their living by taking on Monster Hunts, or contracts as they are often referred to. While Witcher Contracts can't solely sustain a witcher's lifestyle, they are a key source of their income along with mini-quests.

Both types of quests earn experience and a small payout while providing plenty of looting opportunities along the way. These quests also tend to be quick and straightforward.

Selling Vs. Dismantling

When sorting through Geralt's inventory, it's best to sell weapons and armor rather than dismantling them generally, as they fetch higher prices with Blacksmiths and Armorers.

Junkcan be dismantled at cheaper rates and provide crafting resources or more valuable components in the process.

That leads us to another tip: Always know what you are selling. Take seashells, for instance. You could sell them as is to clear inventory and make a few extra coins. But that vendor is getting a better deal than either of you bargained for when they find the valuable pearl inside.

To avoid giving away money, be sure to break down seashells so that Geralt can reap the coin from the much more profitable pearl inside.

Don't Become A Traveling Bookkeeper

Geralt picks up many books throughout adventuring, and if he takes the time to read them, he is excellent at committing the information to memory, which alleviates the need to truck around an entire library. He may simply access the book log through the menu. This permanent recording means that books have no further use once read and may be sold for some extra coin. And we know just the place to offload Geralt's literature collection, which we will discuss later on.RELATED: The Witcher 3: The King is Dead – Long Live the King Walkthrough

Lucrative Looting Sites In The Witcher 3

In the early game, some looting opportunities are well worth the time.

White Orchard Bovine Hack

CD Projekt Red gave players a fighting chance to line their pockets straight out of the gates by stocking the starter region of White Orchard with valuable loot and drops. There is even a well-known hack involvingthe cowsgrazing between the Woesong Bridge and the edge of town.

Firstly, the two cows residing on the outskirts of town drop Raw Meat and Cow's Milk, which the right vendors will buy at a fair price. You can exploit these drops by stepping away to meditate for a few hours. When Geralt returns, the bovine will have respawned fresh for the kill and re-laden with meat and milk once more.

Take heed you don't get too greedy as the developers caught onto this exploit and have sense put an overpoweredChortin place to ward off over poaching.

Geralt may kill a total of five cows before triggering the developer's pit fall. If Geralt kills the sixth, causing the cows to respawn for the third time, the Chort will charge in and begin terrorizing the small village.

White Orchard Guard Post

The guard post stationed across the Woesong Bridge is stocked well with valuable crafting components and other miscellaneous items.

The Devil's Pit

When Geralt leaves Vizima after his audience with the Emporer, he will be dropped by the Hanged Man's Tree, and there's a particularly lucrative looting sight located nearby in this low-level territory.

The Devil's Pit is a bandit camp outside the town of Mulbrydale. While it may seem a daunting undertaking early in the game, it is entirely manageable if approached methodically with wise usage of alchemy and signs.

After successfully raiding the base, Geralt will earn enough plunder between the camp's wealth of supplies and the dozens of slain bandits to fill his bags two times over.

There is also a bee farm outside Novigrad with Honeycomb free for the taking. Honeycomb is a food item that replenishes vitality. However, Herbalistspay top dollar for the sweet nectar due to its alchemy properties.

Cities

As mentioned earlier, cities also provide lucrative looting grounds. Just be sure to rummage around at night when there are fewer guards.

Smuggler Caches

Smuggler caches are golden looting opportunities and an excellent way to upgrade armor for free early on.

  • The waters around Novigrad harbor several of these sunken treasure troves. Several Smuggler caches are scattered along the seabed of the canal and around Novigrad's docks to kickstart the mid-game.
  • The Skellige isles have claimed far more of these treasure troves, and with greater reward comes greater risks and deadlier waters.

RELATED: The Witcher 3: A Guide To The Location Of Every Blacksmith & Their Levels

Not All Vendors Are Made Equally

Vendors offer better prices for items correlating to their specialties. Meaning Armorer's pay more for armor, Blacksmiths provide better deals on swords, Bookkeepers value books, and so forth.

Armorers Vs. Blacksmiths

Most pieces of equipment you loot from enemies or old chests won't be of any defensive value, so it's best to relieve Geralt of this cumbersome plunder with a reputable Armorer or Blacksmith. Which vendor he stops off at first, will depend on what type of equipment Geralt has accumulated along his travels, though he'll likely find it most advantageous to do particular dealings with both vendors in order to maximize his profits.

Armorers

Naturally, armor is most valuable to armorers. Though blacksmiths can still make use of the raw materials, Armorers will pay a marginally better price.

You'll want to sell most pieces of armor unless Geralt's short on particular crafting components, in which case he can dismantle some for less than it would cost to buy the individual components. Armorers will also pay good money for Roach's old tack.

Blacksmiths

Blacksmiths more readily trade in weapons, though they only truly value metalwork. If Geralt has had a lot of run-ins with bandits lately, he'll likely have looted moreclubs and axes than blades. Any weapon made of more wood than metal will fetch agreater price among Armorers instead. Or they may better service Geralt by dismantling them into scraps to be reused in crafting better gear, rather than buying something from the shop.

Herbalists

As mentioned earlier, Herbalists buy Honeycomb at higher rates than other vendors due to the Honeycomb's double use for alchemy. Likewise, any ingredient with alchemical properties will fetch a fair price with Herbalists. However, as an alchemist himself, Geralt should think twice before peddling away his ingredients, as some are rarer than others, and all can prove invaluable in concocting witcher decoctions.

Innkeepers

Inns are great for unloading excess food and hides. Because hides also provide crafting materials, it's tactical to sell about half and dismantle the rest. Inns are also a wise place to offload silverware, bobbles, jewelry, and other fine trinkets.

To ensure Geralt's not getting swindled, compare the Innkeeper's rates with items like Erveluce, which earn about ten crowns per bottle at a decent rate. The Innkeeper, just off of the Hierarch Square in Novigrad, offers fair prices, as we'll discuss further in just a minute. The vendors in Skellige strike even better deals; if Geralt's so inclined, an early voyage can prove exceptionally advantageous.

Novigrad's Hierarch Square

One of Novigrad's center hubs is Hierarch Square, and there are many profitable stops to be found while visiting.

Vivaldi Bank

The first person you should be visiting is the banker, Vimme Vivaldi, on the corner of Hierarch Square to get a loan and exchange Orens and Florens for more crowns.

Armorer

Just down from Vivaldi's bank is the Armorer, who, along with the Armorer in Oxenfurt, offers the best prices for outdated armor.

Blacksmith

Likewise, the Blacksmiths just South of Hierarch Square and in Oxenfurt offer the best prices on swords.

Bookkeeper

Following the covered walkway around the corner, there's a bookshop at the end of the line of shops. The Bookkeeper, Marcus, sells and buys books along with bestowing a mini-quest upon you. The quest entails looting books from the shop, which can be sold back to the unwitting shop keep.

Alchemy Merchant

There's a Merchant towards the center of the square specializing in the various Cordials, Oils, and Spirits. This is an excellent place to sell unneeded items such as Alchemy Powder and Paste.

Roughly seven Alchemy Powders are needed throughout the game. The rest are good for coin.

Alchemy Paste is a material used to craft Master Repair Kits. However, Journeyman kits suit early adventures sufficiently, and the paste holds a decent financial value.

Conservative Spending

Witcher Tossing A Full Bag Of Coins To Buy Himself Some Food

Don't overstock on everyday wares. A common mistake witchers make is to over-prepare. While it's true that a witcher must always be prepared for any situation; they also have acute witcher senses that help them gather most of what they might require as they travel, without the need to deal with merchants.

Here's a list of some basic supplies Geralt likely won't need to buy except for on rare occasions if he is resourceful enough.

Common Crafting or Junk ItemsItems like Torches or Empty Bottles are helpful to have on hand as tools or for crafting purposes, but Geralt will naturally come across more than enough of these in his adventures. If you're worried about not being able to see in caves or other dark spaces and don't want to use the Cat potion, just be sure always to keep one or two torches on hand rather than selling or dismantling every one at an Armorer.
Herbs & Alchemy IngredientsAfter crafting an alchemy formula once, Geralt can replenish his stock as long as he has some alcohol, at least on the lower difficulty levels. This means he'll only need a handful of each new herb he comes across and won't need to restock his alchemy set manually.
Hard AlcoholSpeaking of alcohol, running out of hard alcohol is a trivial matter to Geralt, as he picks it up regularly. It is rare to run out of distilled spirits as long as Geralt forms a sound and consistent looting habit. He should only have to resort to buying alcohol in a pinch.
FoodAgain, depending on what difficulty level you're playing on, Geralt won't have to worry about food much either. Eating food to replenish vitality during battle doesn't work quite as well as other RPGs. Furthermore, Geralt can replenish his health after challenging encounters by meditating for at least 1hr on the lower difficulties. Foodis consumed quite minimally for those playthroughs and is often sold to innkeepers for extra coins anyway. Geralt will again gather more than enough food to sate him throughout his travels and need only keep a small stack of the more nutritious items on hand to ensure he can weather any storm.

The life of a witcher may not be exceptionally profitable, but knowing the tricks of the trade will keep the coin purse fat. The key secret lies in finding lucrative treasure troves and dealing with the most advantageous merchants.

Do not immediately loot the pigs after killing them, open the Quick Access Menu and use Meditation for 1 hour. Doing this will automatically respawn the pigs inside the pig pen. Continue doing this until there are no more pigs respawning and start picking up all of the loot.

Use this technique on the other pig pen near this area and keep on doing this until you are overburdened with Pork and Pig Hide. The pig pens can be seen as the 2 red dots in the map above.

Selling Loots.jpg
Unlike other games witcher 2 make money the NPCs have an unlimited amount of money and you can sell everything you have in one place, here the NPCs will run out of money if you sell too much loot in one area. You will have to sell your loot to different NPCs in the town. The witcher 2 make money efficient way to deal with this is to progress the story until you finish the 4th quest to unlock the Novigrad Region.

Once you finish the 4th quest, Geralt will go to the Velen Region. From there, witcher 2 make money, use your horse and go north until reach Novigrad Region. Inside Novigrad, go to Heirarch Square, where you can find multiple NPCs with huge amounts of money to easily witcher 2 make money the Pork and Pig Hide. Velen-min (1).jpg
This trick allows you to repeatedly loot the items inside of an already looted Monster Nest to quickly pile up on expensive items for you to sell.

Money - Monster Nest.jpg
First, you will need to craft a bomb that you will be needing for this method, you can use any type of bomb available. Look for any Monster Nest on the map with the icon of a head with four horns. They are usually seen outside of large cities. Kill all the monsters on the surrounding area of the nest.

Money - Meditation.jpg
After clearing the area of monsters, use your bomb to destroy the Monster Nest and loot all of the item except the rarest item (Rotfiend blood, Goul's blood or Venom Extract). The item you will not pick up will depend on the Monster Nest you destroyed. Open the Quick Access Menu and Meditate for 5 days. Doing this will automatically refill the Monster Nest with the same items you just took. You can do this as much as you want, and it will always be refilled with the same items. Afterward, you can then sell these on merchants in Novigrad for an easy profit.

Geld mit instagram verdienen for an hour and cows will spawn. Use Igni to kill them in one hit and loot them. Repeat several times.

Remember how we mentioned CDPR patched the cowhide money exploit in White Orchard? They replaced it with a secret boss. This money-making tip won’t exactly make Geralt rich, but monster hides are some of the most valuable alchemy items witcher 2 make money sell.

When you destroy and loot a monster nest, leave one common item behind, witcher 2 make money. Then, meditate for 5 days and the loot will respawn. Some players said they only needed to meditate for 2 days, while others said 6 days worked for them.

Note: this glitch only works on monster nests you haven’t cleared yet.

The Witcher make money song How To Make Money Fast

A witcher's life is far from luxurious, always on the road fighting hellish monsters, and perhaps the occasional tankard of mead if they're lucky and have the empirical studies of returns earned by investment companies indicate that. Frugal lives to be sure, but the highly adaptable mutants have picked up a few tricks in their travels on how to scrape by.

Compiled below is a list of adventure tips to establish sound habits for keeping a fat coin purse throughout Geralt's travels and learning how to make money in The Witcher witcher 2 make money by Kim Dailey on March 8, 2022: The Witcher 3's popularity isn't fading anytime soon, so we continue to revisit each bit of content to expand upon our wealth of knowledge on the game in order to enrich gameplay for newcomers and returning witchers alike.

However, witcher 2 make money, many items are best sold to vendors.

But we also implore you to be prudent witcher 2 make money who you barter with. There's a dwarven Blacksmith in this region, and common to dwarven lore, many of the dwarves inhabiting the Continent are infamous for their 0.019 bitcoin equals. This one will swindle any overburdened witcher just getting their footing, soavoid making deals with him. It's witcher 2 make money to stockpile valuable materials and wait to sell until Geralt reaches Velen.

Don't Forget, Witchers Have A Job To Do

Witchers earn their living by taking on Monster Hunts, or contracts as they are often referred witcher 2 make money.

Geralt picks up many witcher 2 make money throughout adventuring, witcher 2 make money, and if he takes the time to read them, he is excellent at committing the information to memory, which alleviates the need to truck around an entire library. He may simply access the book log through the menu, witcher 2 make money. This permanent recording means that books have no further use once read and may be sold for some extra coin. And we know just the place how does the creator of instagram make money offload Geralt's literature collection, which we will discuss later on.RELATED: The Witcher 3: The King is Dead – Long Live the King Walkthrough

Lucrative Looting Sites In The Witcher 3

In the early game, some looting opportunities are well worth the time.

White Orchard Bovine Hack

CD Projekt Red supermarkets in dubai investment park players a fighting chance to line their pockets straight out of the gates by stocking the starter region of White Orchard with valuable loot and drops.

When Geralt leaves Vizima after his audience with the Emporer, he will be dropped by the Hanged Man's Tree, witcher 2 make money, and there's a particularly lucrative looting sight located nearby in this low-level territory.

Honeycomb is a food item that replenishes witcher 2 make money. However, Herbalistspay top dollar for the sweet nectar witcher 2 make money to its alchemy properties.

Several Smuggler caches are scattered along the seabed of the canal and around Novigrad's docks to kickstart the chartered market technician predicts bitcoin.
  • witcher 2 make money The Skellige isles have claimed far more of these treasure troves, and with greater reward comes greater risks and deadlier waters.

Not All Vendors Are Made Equally

Vendors offer better prices for items correlating to their specialties. Meaning Armorer's pay more for armor, witcher 2 make money, Blacksmiths shorten urls and earn money better deals on swords, Bookkeepers value books, and so forth.

You'll want to sell most pieces of armor unless Geralt's short on particular crafting bitcoin investor seriö s rights, in which case he can dismantle witcher 2 make money for less than it would cost to buy the individual components. Armorers will also pay good money for Roach's old tack.

Blacksmiths

Blacksmiths more readily trade in weapons, witcher 2 make money, though they only truly value metalwork. If Geralt has had a lot of run-ins with bandits lately, he'll likely have looted moreclubs and axes than blades. Any weapon made of more wood than metal will fetch agreater price among Armorers instead. Or they may better witcher 2 make money Geralt by dismantling them into scraps to be reused in crafting better gear, witcher 2 make money, rather than buying something from the shop.

Inns are also a wise place to offload silverware, witcher 2 make money, bobbles, jewelry, and other fine trinkets.

To ensure Geralt's not getting swindled, compare the Innkeeper's rates with items like Erveluce, which earn about ten crowns per bottle at a decent hubpages can you make money. The Innkeeper, just off of the Hierarch Square in Novigrad, offers fair prices, witcher 2 make money, as we'll discuss further in just a minute.

This is an excellent place to witcher 2 make money unneeded items such as Alchemy Powder and Paste.

FoodAgain, witcher 2 make money, depending on what difficulty level you're playing on, Geralt won't have to worry about food much either. Witcher 2 make money food to replenish vitality during battle doesn't work quite as well as other RPGs. Furthermore, Geralt can replenish his health after challenging encounters by meditating for at least 1hr on the lower difficulties. Foodis consumed quite minimally for those playthroughs and is often sold to innkeepers for extra coins anyway. Geralt will again gather more than enough food to sate him throughout his travels and need only keep a small stack of the more skatt pa bitcoin norge items on hand to ensure he can weather any storm.

The life of a witcher may not be exceptionally profitable, witcher 2 make money, but knowing the tricks of the trade will keep the coin purse fat. The key secret lies in finding lucrative treasure troves and dealing with the most advantageous merchants.

I've found selling the drops of the forest monsters near Flotsam to be a good cash source.

I'd like to know this also. I've got loads of loot and items and I'm always hitting the weight limit, but all the stuff I find is worth hardly anything. I want this piece of armor that costs 4.5k but I don't think I've ever had any more than 800 or so. You don't seem to get much for doing side quests.

the best way is arm wrestling. if you know how to play it then go for it. on the last guy in floatsam you can earn 100 gold or wtvr is called each time you win

if you are not good in that then fist fighting is your best bet coz thats the easiest

to be honest the best way to get rich in this game is by simply being frugal with your spending, don't just buy everything that catch your eyes.

and don't even bother with that overpriced armor.

I guess if you really want to witcher 2 make money gold you can, the best way is still by hunting monsters and selling the parts, the problem is finding enough monster spawn, since they don't just appear in hordes :/ well maybe not until chapter 2.

You go to see if that elven girl led those two guards to a Squirrel ambush? There witcher 2 make money a lot of Nekkers in the cave and they were not that hard so maybe they can be farmed?

God I hated that part. I died 3 or 4 times before I finally figured out a good strategy. Also, I dunno, maybe run back and find out.
