Online competitions are everywhere and the fact that many people ignore them means that there’s a pretty decent chance of winning. Lend to your peers

Peer-to-peer lending is a rapidly growing market. Sites like Zopa cut out the middle men (the banks) and allow individuals to lend directly to borrowers. It’s a hybrid way of saving and investing money, but it’s yet another source of extra income you can easily try at home.

Returns for lenders can be more attractive than with regular savings rates, while borrowers can often find cheaper loans compared to other sources.

Some of the bigger names in this industry such as RateSetter, Funding Circle and Zopa are now very well-established, but there are many others which allow specialisation in all sorts of areas, such as property crowdfunding.

Lending your money through peer-to-peer sites involves more risk than leaving it in a bank or building society as it won’t be backed by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. Many see peer-to-peer lending as a half-way house in terms of risk and reward, lying between cash savings and stocks and shares.

2. Make money from your home

Rent out your parking space

If you have a driveway or a garage that you don’t use and you live in an area where parking space is in high demand, you can let it pay for itself. Rent it out and make money from doing nothing at all.

Parking is more desirable in London and you can charge a lot more there than anywhere else, but don’t feel discouraged if you live elsewhere. If, for example, you live close to a large football ground you could charge a premium on match days.

If you’re not sure about having someone around full-time, you might want to check out Airbnb. It’s a great solution for when you’d prefer to take in the occasional holidaymaker. Many people just need somewhere to put their stuff. They are prepared to pay to leave their goods in storage space and that could be your spare room, attic or garage. It’s yet another effortless way to make money and websites such as Stashbee can help you get started.

If you love children and you’re at home all day looking after your own kids anyway, this might be the job for you.

As long as you don’t have a criminal record, you can be a childminder. If you’re on your own, you can look after a maximum of six children under 8 years at a time, although the rules are different for babies – you can normally only look after one at a time if they’re under 1 year old.

It’s typical to charge per child, per hour, and the amount will vary based on the ages and where you live.

For example, if I were interested in finding data entry work from home jobs I would research where to find those types of jobs online. I would also research the average salary of a Data Entry Clerk to get a better understanding of how much I could actually make each month. 

2. Asset Your Area Of Focus 

Think about all the skills and talents you have. Asset each skill and talent and decide which industry would fit you best. For example, if you are great at dancing and singing maybe becoming a singing coach or performance coach in your home might be a great stay-at-home job for you. 

3. Review Your Availability 

Another area you want to focus on is your availability. Since having children I have noticed that I have to set up a schedule that doesn&#;t keep me from them all day long. So, review your schedule and figure out which work hours will work best for you and your family. 

For me, working in the morning hours work best because my husband is also at home in the morning and can take on the extra load while I work from home.

4. Decide On Children Activities or Care

If you will be home alone with your children while you work from home maybe consider hiring a babysitter or a nanny to help with your children. You can also consider finding daily activities for your children while you work from home.

After searching for legitimate work from home jobs for moms online, I couldn&#;t find any success stories, and I needed to know these ideas could work for me.

Out of frustration and a short timeline before I had my daughter, I decided to reach out to successful work at home moms and interview them to see:

A good job for a stay at home mom is something that is flexible enough to work around your own schedule and can be done part-time because let’s face it, we already have a full-time job just being a mom. And that&#;s exactly what you&#;ll find on this list.

Here are the things stay at home moms can do to make money

1. Start a Blog

Blogging is the #1 online stay at home mom job because it is one of the most flexible jobs you can have and the earning potential is limitless.

After reading how bloggers are making between $1,$50, per MONTH, I instantly thought, well why can’t I do that? And now I am!

I will admit that starting a successful blog takes A LOT of work (in the beginning anyway) but I was DESPERATE to find a way to make money from home so I could stay home with my kids. Desperation is a great motivator, it&#;s what kept me going. This blog HAD to work. And it&#;s paying off significantly.

Blogging is the best stay at home job for moms with babies because it can help you earn passive income. I make money from ads just from people reading my articles.

I can assure you, I did not write this article today and yet it’s making me money.

When you get a nice number of people reading your articles it brings in a nice income. Here’s a screenshot of one of my earnings from my ad revenue

I made $ in one day just from ads, and I make even more in affiliate sales. You can see how I make money blogging here.

You DO NOT need to be an excellent writer to become a blogger, you just write like you talk.

I’m definitely not a great writer and I have my lovely mom review my articles before I post just to have a second pair of eyes.

I spent a lot of time working on my blog the first year with a full-time job, busy toddler, pregnant with my second child and also “trying” to be a wonderful wife to my wonderful husband. So, I know if you want this to work&#;it can. It just depends on you.

I also didn&#;t make much money my first year. After a year in I finally started to see a nice income. So definitely consider doing this on the side as it may take some time before you start earning money, but it&#;s so worth it if you stick it out.

I work VERY part-time on my blog now and I’m making more money than when I was at my corporate job.

2. Get into Real Estate BUT w/o Buying or Selling Anything

I know, sounds a little crazy right? But I met Boss Mom Danielle Pierce who is doing this earning over $, per year WHILE homeschooling her 3 kids!

It&#;s called Property Preservation or Repairing Foreclosed Homes. Danielle outsources % of the work and just does the admin work at home.

Bookkeepers record financial transactions for small business owners, and it can be done either as a freelancer or by working for a company remotely.

I had the pleasure of interviewing two successful stay-at-home moms who work from home as a Bookkeeper and started out with no previous experience!

This is great work for stay at home moms because one of the moms I interviewed has NINE kids, homeschool&#;s six of them, AND still has time to earn a living Bookkeeping.

Do you find yourself easily catching errors when reading? Do you cringe when you see grammar mistakes?  If so, you might be able to use your proofreading skills to make a successful career as a great online proofreader.

A professional proofreader gets paid to fix spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes in writing.

Proofreaders are NEEDED, I know because I use one myself. This is a great stay at home job for moms because you work around your own schedule as long as you can meet your deadlines.

How much can I make? Caitlin Pyle made $43, in one year proofreading PART-TIME!

• Design Tech
• Pinterest Management
• Copywriting or more!

She was a teacher working hours per week earning $2, a month. Pre-tax. Absolutely miserable dropping her baby off at daycare every day. She needed to work. And she wanted to work but on her own terms.

You find good deals on products at brick and mortar stores or wherever and resell them on Amazon for a higher price.

8. Transcribe

Transcribers listen to audio files and record (type) what they hear. If you have patience and the ability to sit for long periods of time and an eye for detail, you should consider transcribing.

Online Writer

Do you like to write? You can make a lot of money as a writer, I know because I interviewed Boss Mom Holly Johnson who earns OVER $, a year as a Freelance Writer. I didn&#;t even know that was possible!

How much can I make? Holly Johnson said that she thinks it would be hard for you NOT to earn AT LEAST $40, to $50, a year working full-time as a writer.

A good job for a stay at home mom is something that is flexible enough to work around your own schedule and can be done part-time because let’s face it, we already have a full-time job just being a mom. And that&#;s exactly what you&#;ll find on this list.

I just interviewed John Flick who is a Notary Loan Signing Agent and this is one of the best work from home jobs that I have to add to this list because he is earning $5k-$7K per month only working days a week! 1. Start a Blog

Blogging is the #1 online stay at home mom job because it is one of the most flexible jobs you can have and the earning potential is limitless.

After reading how bloggers are making between $1,$50, per MONTH, I instantly thought, well why can’t I do that? And now I am!

I will admit that starting a successful blog takes A LOT of work (in the beginning anyway) but I was DESPERATE to find a way to make money from home so I could stay black money earned by ias officers with my kids. Desperation is a great motivator, it&#;s what kept me going. This blog HAD to work. And it&#;s paying off significantly.

Blogging is the best stay at home job for moms with babies because it can help you earn passive income. I make money from ads just from people reading my articles.

I can assure you, I did not write this article today and yet it’s making me money.

You DO NOT need to be an excellent writer to become a blogger, you just write like you talk.

I’m definitely not a great writer and I have my lovely mom review my articles before I post just to have a second pair of eyes.

I spent a lot of time working on my blog the first year with a full-time job, busy toddler, pregnant with my second child and also “trying” to be a wonderful wife to my wonderful husband. So, I know ways to make money from home for moms you want this to work&#;it can. It just depends on you.

I also didn&#;t make much money my first year. After a year in I finally started to see a nice income. So definitely consider doing this on the side as it may take some time before you start earning money, but it&#;s so worth it if you stick it out.

I had the pleasure of interviewing two successful stay-at-home moms who work from home as a Bookkeeper and started out with no previous experience!

• Virtual Assistant
• Social Media
• Design Tech
• Pinterest Management
• Copywriting or more!

7. Start a Dog Treat Bakery

We interviewed Kristen Larsen who started her bakery and she&#;s proof that this is not just a little change you could earn. She was earning $4, a month!

8. Transcribe

Transcribers listen to audio files and record (type) what they hear. If you have patience and the ability to sit for long periods of time and an eye for detail, you should consider transcribing.

Online tutoring is growing thanks to the advancements in technology, and it’s an excellent way to make money at home if you have teaching experience or knowledge of a specific subject. Choose what times work best for you.

Online Writer

Do you like to write? You can make a lot of money as a writer, I know because I interviewed Boss Mom Holly Johnson who earns OVER $, a year as a Freelance Writer. I didn&#;t even know that was possible!

Writing is another great work from home job for moms because you get to work completely around your own schedule.

How much can I make? Holly Johnson said that she thinks it would be hard for you NOT to earn AT LEAST $40, to $50, a year working full-time as a writer.

Create an Online Store with Drop Shipping

Drop shipping is a method where you can sell third-party products from a Drop Shipping Company without ever seeing or shipping the item. When you make a sale, the product is shipped directly to the customer from the drop shipper.

Your profit is the difference between what you charge your customers and what the drop shipping company charges you.

Do you have those creative genes to decorate rooms and arrange furniture? Do you watch HGTV and think, I can do that, I want to do that? In-Home Childcare

earn one bitcoin per day you love children and have a passion for the opportunity to impact a young life, this is a great opportunity to work from home. You also get the added benefit of playtime and socialization with your kids.

How do I get started? I recommend taking this neat course on How to Start a Home Daycare Business. Ladonna operated her own profitable home daycare and shows you how you can do the same along with all the information you&#;ll need to get started.

How much can I make? It really depends on where you live, but you could charge $30 a day which turns out to $ per month (assuming its for 8 hours a day), while some daycares will charge $ or more a month for one kid.

Feel free to raise your price and check the daycare costs in your area to stay competitive.

Tips: Make sure you add childcare endorsement to your home owner&#;s insurance in case someone gets hurt and check your State regulations on the number of children you can care for without a license.

Photography

If you’re the family photographer and love taking pictures, you should look into Photography as it is a great side income from home job that could turn into something more.

The more Survey websites you sign up for, the more you&#;ll earn.

Tip: Open a separate email account solely for surveys. You’ll start to get inundated with emails and it will be more manageable in a different account.

Use Ways to make money from home for moms have found many freelance projects on Upwork. I sift through the available work options to see which project suits me the best.

I only apply to the jobs I KNOW I can do well because after the project is over its important that I get a good review so I can continue to get more jobs.

I suggest the following when applying to jobs on Upwork:

• Check that the client has the “blue verified payment check” before applying
• When you see a job that fits you, apply for it immediately!
• If you live in the U.S., make sure to check “U.S. Only.”
